DAY TRIPS
from Black Pearl Cottage to:
SAN FRANCISCO ..... CARMEL ..... MONTEREY ..... BIG SUR
San Francisco
San Francisco is a beautiful 70 mile drive north along the coast from Santa Cruz
down Highway I. We often stop in Davenport, 11 mi from Santa Cruz
at the Davenport Cash Store (11 miles from Santa Cruz) in the
tiny town of Davenport for lunch if we get a late start.
The food is first rate & their collection of gifts
and unique items is exceptional But do try
to get an early start since as you know
city siteseeing can be exhausting.
and the drive is a hour and a
half to two hours home if
you arn't planning to
spend the night?
